The Company was founded over 50 years ago under the logo GdN (Galleria delle Novità), at the same time specializing in the importation of electronic goods from the Far East.

By a careful selection of items, dependable after-sales service, multilingual public relations and written manuals as well as multi-lingual translations (in Switzerland French, German and Italian are spoken), the Company met a rapid success.

In 1972, the Company had 180 collaborators concentrated mainly on marketing devices in the audio/video sector. Later, the Company extended its activity to Communications and Telephony.

On account of the ever increasing lines of interest in our clients network it was decided in 1986 to restructure the Company GdN for the purpose of creating a specialized Company in the telecommunications field.

Hotline International SA is specialized in the Communications and Telephony branches, digital imaging and multimedia. Hotline International SA is managed by Mr Gianfranco Maciocci, a graduated electronic engineer, who speaks several languages (Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Portuguese), former Manager of SOMMERKAMP ELECTRONIC SA, at the same time the sole agent for the European market of VERTEX STANDARD Co. Ltd.,Tokyo, famous manufacturer of radio-amateur and professional equipment, branded YAESU.

Immediately, the company structure strengthened by the hiring of Mr Kato Masayuki, a Japanese citizen, graduated electronic engineer with a long term technical experience in the YAESU sales range.

He is assisted by seven service technicians and a fully equipped modern service laboratory (e.g.Tektroniks spectrum analyzers, Rhode & Schwarz sampling receiver/transmitter etc.).
